Tech Info ( Sub Domains )

Introduction

A sub domain allows you to have an address like :
http://whatever.yoursite.com

How do I set it up ?

Log into your admin panel at http://www.yoursite.com/admin

Click on the ' Sub Domains ' tab.

Click on ' add '

For hostname use the full hostname of this subdomain (ex: whatever.yoursite.com)

For Directory Path use the directory in your hosting that will hold the files for the sub domain, eg:
/whatever

To set up a sub domain does require us to make some changes in our Name Servers so you will need to send us a ' Support Request ' with all the details so we can finish setting it up for you.

How do I upload to the sub domain ?

FTP into your account as you did to create your main site, create a new directory in the same name as you put in the Directory Path ( in the above example it would be : whatever ).
Now you can upload the files to that directory.
